Laser Test Patch Demonstration.

A laser test patch is the application of laser energy on or next to the area of skin being considered for treatment.

The purpose of the laser test patch is to check that no adverse reactions occur in the days after laser application. If all is well after the specified period of time, which varies depending on racial skin type and the laser system being used, the patient can proceed to schedule a full treatment.

A laser test patch does not usually have to be repeated in between sessions if a course of treatments is being carried out.

A laser test patch can be carried out at the same time as a consultation.
